More adventuring, Purple Penguin, and A Wolf

We ventured out to Boulder City one day, feed some ducks with Aunt Ellyn and found a few more geocaches.  This one was something about a moose...I like the creative ones like that.  :)
After being in the hot, desert sun we cooled off at one of our favorite places in the summer - Purple Penguin.  It's really just a shaved ice place by a convenience store but it sells the best shaved ice, and not too expensive either.  Yummy flavors and lots to choose from.  Oh yeah and while you are waiting in what is always a long line (because they are always busy) they have these purple umbrellas you can use - or abuse if you are one of my children.  :)

personally I think they are having too much fun with the umbrellas, but it gives them some shade!

Also, this week we had pack meeting.  It was an arrow of light ceremony for two of our weblos - Jaxon and Koy.  But more importantly (at least to me) is that Andrew received his Wolf Badge!  Way to go Andrew!

Along with his wolf badge he also earned a gold arrow point and two silver arrow points! From all the electives he did with me.  :)

He had to tell a little about what he did to earn everything.

Here are the two boys and their parents that earned their arrow of light.

and here is what Bryant did the whole time....kept filling up his cup and going back for more.

Eric, Rachel(s), and Grandma! :)

I thought this was a cool cake - They get their pictures printed on the cake.  How cool is that?
