Today we went to the Children's Lied Discovery museum with some friends of ours. Andrew has actually been bugging me to go for about 3 weeks now. "mom, can we go to the museum again." He was a bit disappointed that the train exhibit was gone. (It closed Sunday - just barely missed it.) Isn't that always the case. The virtual sports game was still there. The picture below is of Andrew, his friend Tyler, and meghan and Bret playing virtual soccer.

Eric found a 'real' (not virtual) ball and had a grand ol' time running that around. Rachel just kept running from exhibit to exhibit and avoided the camera. We stayed for a couple of hours, found a place for lunch, then went home for naps. (Tired my kids out!) Tonight we had a family movie night. It's a small tradition we like to have once a month or so. We tell the kids it's family movie night and they run to get pj's on, grab their blankets & pillow and bug mom to make popcorn. Plus they have to clean up the family room before we settle in. Even mom & dad have to have pj's and pillow & blanket. It's fun and I never see them get ready for bed so fast! Tonight we watched a cartoon movie about racecars Andrew had picked at the library this week. He loved it. (I thought it was kind of corny, but it was only 50 minutes.) It's just fun to snuggle in with the family and have a little fun.
