End of the school year....

It came, speeding at full force, faster and faster....the end of the school year.!  I can't believe that Andrew is already done with 1st grade and Rachel with Kindergarten! Both have done fabulously this year! We are so pleased with the progress they have made.  I know that they are so excited for summer to start as these days wore on, but  as we are catching up, we shall relive the fun we had...

First, we recieved a lovely invitation to an awards assembly for which Andrew was going to be recieving an award.  I was excited to go.  This first picture is of all the 1st and 2nd graders.  Andrew is at the very front. 

 

                                                         Andrew recieved the award for best reading in his class...he is a super reader and was excited to get the reward.  He also recieved an award (not at the assembly) for best in P.e. for his class for the whole year, and an award for attendance having missed only 2 days all year.

And last but not least, Rachel and Ms. Thibault...She is an awesome teacher and perfect for Rachel's first year in school.  Thank you for such wonderful teachers and their stupendous effort!  Thanks for making Kindergarten such a great success!
