While staying at the cabin, we also spent a lot of time exploring Greer. One of my favorite sleepy little towns. There was a new little café that opened this year and we decided to have lunch there one day. It was quick tasty and a fun little outdoor patio.

They even have a climbing wall out back, although it isn't open all the time and wasn't on the day we were there.
But they did have a fun playground out front. The kids especially liked this plane.

We also found a few caches around Greer This one was in a rain gauge... you had to climb up and get it - it was magnetic and stuck up top.
We also found this little fellow on a cache... I guess he was protecting it.
We found a couple shorter hikes to take the kids on. It was fun and good to get out and about. This one was on the mountain that got some fire damage, you can tell by the pictures.

We had a great five days there and enjoyed the time with family and friends. On the way home we stopped for a few caches and found some interesting sites! :)
This one had a reference to wizard of oz and was of course on the 'tin man' very clever. It was right by the rock shop we like to stop at on our way through Holbrook.
I love this one of the kids at the twin arrows trading post which is now no more than a shell of a ghost town (store.) We had fun exploring all around it.
