Playing in the rain...

We've had a little bit of rain here in Vegas as of late - which I LOVE... I always have loved rain - the smell, the feel, how it makes everything green.  Maybe that's because I've always lived in the desert where it is so needed and welcome.  One of my favorite memories is being at my great grandparents cabin in Greer, AZ and lying in bed listening to the rain on the roof as it pitter patters  and thunder as in rolls, then counting the seconds until we saw the lighting flash.  Well these pics are from last weeks rainstorm - Rachel has a new umbrella that she scored at a yard sale - strawberry shortcake - 50 cents! can't get better than that. - she didn't put it down for two days. - well, now it needs a little repair work, but she was so excited when it started raining so she could really USE her umbrella.  She made daddy (Jeff) take her for a walk.  (jeff got pretty soaked, but he was a good sport about it! (what a great dad!)She sure loves this thing!
