Swimming and Joel and Emily...

We finished up swim lessons this last week and stayed after to play at the outdoor water park. Here are just a few of the pics I took. Andrew and Rachel took lessons. It's always good to see their improvement from year to year. Andrew is getting to be a great swimmer and loves the water. He actually can swim very well without his floaties, although he thinks he needs them still. (his little crutch) with them he seems invincible. Rachel does so much better this year than last. She will try and swim and ventures farther than ever before. Last year she just preferred to lay in the sun. :) This year she even went down the water slide. Eric was too little for swim lessons (without mom) but I worked with a little anyway. He loves the water and had so much fun playing at the park. Andrew -"mom, I don't want my picture taken."

Also last week, my youngest brother married his sweetheart Emily. We love Emily, she has been so good for Joel and he loves her dearly. We are glad to have her as part of the family. I loved meeting her grandparents and have her mom out here too. The wedding was beautiful - in a pretty little grove. The weather even cooperated and was cooler, but not too windy as the ceremony was outside. It was joked that maybe Dad put in a request for the weather. (It wouldn't surprise me.) The reception was fun, dancing, chatting, etc. and everything was beautiful. Their colors reminded me our Jeff and my wedding.
